King Charles urged to make Andrew face consequences over Epstein links

Expert says monarch should press his brother to cooperate with US investigators

King Charles III has been urged to encourage his brother Prince Andrew to cooperate with American authorities investigating crimes connected to Jeffrey Epstein.

The call comes as the King prepares for his official visit to the United States later this month, where renewed scrutiny over Andrew’s past associations could again attract attention.

Writing for Daily Mirror, royal commentator Russell Myers said the monarch should use his influence to persuade Andrew to do the right thing and speak with US investigators examining Epstein’s activities.

Myers also wrote that Charles has previously made clear that the law should take its course regarding allegations involving his brother, and has shown concern over the continuing controversy surrounding Andrew’s relationship with Epstein.

Andrew has repeatedly denied allegations made against him and has denied wrongdoing.

The latest comments add to ongoing pressure on the royal family as Charles continues to manage sensitive issues linked to past scandals while carrying out official duties.
