Property expert suggests Marsh Farm may become Andrew’s long-term base after major security upgrades
Sarah Ferguson may soon reunite with Andrew after reports emerged that his newly refurbished home on the Sandringham Estate could become a permanent residence.
The former Duke of York has reportedly settled into Marsh Farm following extensive renovation work, with new security measures and interior upgrades believed to have been completed ahead of his move.
Andrew was recently seen walking his dog close to the property, appearing to adjust to life at the countryside residence. The upgrades to the home are thought to have been significant, with property experts suggesting the work may have cost a six-figure sum.
Property specialist Elliot Castle said the scale of the renovations suggests the property was carefully prepared with Andrew’s long-term privacy and security in mind.
He explained that, from a housing perspective, the move appears less like a temporary arrangement and more like a planned family setup. According to Castle, Marsh Farm seems designed to provide a stable and secure base for Andrew.
The expert also suggested that Sarah Ferguson could potentially join him at the property in the future. While the pair divorced in 1996, they have remained on good terms and have continued to maintain a close friendship over the years.
Castle noted that it would not be unusual for former partners to share a living arrangement, particularly when security concerns and familiar routines are involved. Whether Ferguson chooses to move in would ultimately be a personal decision.
He also pointed out that any long-term stay could depend on the specific terms of Andrew’s residence at the property and whether permission from the estate’s management is required.
