Royal historian questions the Duchess of York’s judgement and past decisions
Sarah Ferguson has come under renewed criticism, with a royal historian raising concerns about her judgement and reluctance to admit past mistakes.
The former Duchess of York, long linked to controversy surrounding convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein, is once again being scrutinised over her past associations and decisions.
Royal historian Marlene Koenig claimed Ferguson has struggled to learn from earlier controversies. According to Koenig, the Duchess appears to repeat the same patterns without fully accepting responsibility for her actions.
Koenig argued that Ferguson’s behaviour reflects a lack of moral clarity and accountability, saying the Duchess has often failed to recognise the importance of taking personal responsibility.
The historian also criticised both Ferguson and her former husband, Prince Andrew, suggesting that neither has shown enough willingness to confront past mistakes.
Meanwhile, reports claim Ferguson has been expressing concerns about her finances after leaving Royal Lodge. According to a source speaking to the Daily Mail, she has been asking friends how she will manage going forward.
The insider claimed Ferguson frequently complains about being broke, though it remains unclear what that means in practical terms. Friends have reportedly joked that she might even consider selling some of her old handbags online if money becomes tight.
Despite the criticism and speculation, Ferguson continues to remain active in public life, focusing on media work, charitable causes and personal projects.
