Princess of Wales praised for confidence and strength during first solo overseas trip after cancer recovery
Catherine has been widely praised following her recent solo visit to Italy, with royal experts describing the trip as a major milestone in her recovery journey.
The Princess of Wales travelled to the Emilia-Romagna region, where her appearances and public engagements reportedly delighted both King Charles and William.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror
, Jennie Bond said the visit marked an important step forward for Catherine after her health battle.
“This is certainly a welcome milestone in Catherine’s journey to full recovery, and the King will be delighted,” Bond explained.
She added that the monarch has complete trust in Catherine’s ability to represent the Royal Family both in Britain and overseas.

The commentator further suggested that William would feel especially proud seeing his wife confidently carry out an official solo overseas tour after what she described as a devastating health scare.
