Sarah Ferguson is reportedly keeping a low profile in Austria as renewed scrutiny surrounds her past links to convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein.
According to reports, the former Duchess of York has stayed away from public appearances for more than six months and has remained silent amid calls from US lawmakers to address questions regarding her association with Epstein.
The reports emerged shortly after her younger daughter, Princess Eugenie, announced she is expecting her third child with husband Jack Brooksbank.
Sharing the news on social media, Eugenie wrote: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!” alongside a series of heart emojis.
Buckingham Palace also confirmed the happy news in a statement issued on behalf of King Charles III.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer,” the statement read.
“His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”
Sarah Ferguson previously shared an emotional public message when Eugenie announced her second pregnancy. This time, however, she has yet to react publicly to the latest family update.
Despite speculation that the Duchess could return to Britain to spend time with her daughters, royal commentator Rob Shuter believes that is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
“She’s extremely cautious about returning right now,” a source claimed. “There are concerns about potential legal exposure, and she’s not taking risks.”
