Kate Middleton has reportedly reached a turning point in her relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as tensions within the royal family continue behind the scenes.
According to insiders, the Princess of Wales has grown increasingly frustrated over what have been described as the Sussexes’ “faux royal” appearances during overseas visits and public engagements.
A source told Radar Online that Catherine had spent years trying to avoid further division within the family and remained hopeful that reconciliation could still happen.
“For a long time, Kate tried to rise above all the drama because she genuinely believed there was still a path toward some sort of peace between the Sussexes and the royals,” the insider claimed.
The source added that Catherine made repeated efforts to keep tensions from escalating and hoped relations would eventually improve.
However, the insider alleged that each carefully managed overseas appearance by Harry and Meghan gradually weakened that optimism.
According to the report, Catherine now believes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are increasingly blurring the line between celebrity branding and royal responsibility.
For the Princess of Wales, who is said to take royal duties very seriously, the situation has reportedly become difficult to overlook.
“People close to her say the constant public performances and image management have completely drained whatever patience or optimism she once had about rebuilding the relationship,” the source claimed.
The insider further alleged that Catherine has now abandoned hopes of a reunion with the Sussexes this summer.
Additional claims suggest the future Queen views some of Harry and Meghan’s public appearances as provocative toward the monarchy itself.
The source said Catherine initially tried not to judge Meghan Markle too harshly and believed misunderstandings within the family could eventually be resolved.
“She made a conscious effort to remain diplomatic and avoid taking sides, even when tensions within the family were extremely strained,” the insider alleged.
But over time, the source claimed Catherine became increasingly concerned about what she sees as repeated challenges to royal traditions and values.
“There is a feeling now that certain lines are being crossed deliberately, and Kate increasingly views that as disrespectful not just to individual family members, but to the institution as a whole,” the source said.
The report also claimed that palace circles have become uncomfortable with the perception that Meghan continues using royal connections while distancing herself from the monarchy when it suits her narrative.
According to the insider, some senior royals believe royal titles should carry standards of conduct regardless of whether someone remains a working royal.
