Meghan Markle reportedly believes she is now “more powerful” on her own, according to claims made by royal commentator Rob Shuter following her recent solo appearance in Geneva.
Speaking on Maureen Callahan’s podcast The Nerve, Shuter claimed the couple’s public image as a team has struggled to succeed, adding that Meghan is now preparing to step further into the spotlight independently.
He alleged that Meghan sees this stage of her career as a chance to establish herself globally without Prince Harry by her side.
According to Shuter, sources told him Meghan believes she can achieve greater success and earn more money through solo projects and appearances.
The royal expert also claimed that Meghan recognises Harry has become “a problem” when it comes to public perception, although he added that criticism surrounding the couple is not limited to the Duke alone.
In a separate post published on his Substack, Shuter further alleged that Meghan intentionally chose to attend the Geneva event without Harry so the attention would remain focused on her work rather than ongoing royal controversies.
Sources quoted by the commentator claimed that whenever Harry joins Meghan publicly, discussions quickly shift toward royal tensions and family disputes instead of her professional efforts.
