Prince Harry criticised for ‘being everywhere’ after latest essay

Prince Harry has come under fresh criticism after releasing a new essay on antisemitism, with commentators questioning his public role after stepping back from royal duties.

The Duke of Sussex is facing claims that his actions continue to send mixed signals, especially as he and Meghan Markle have repeatedly spoken about wanting a more private life away from the Royal family.

Writing for i Paper, commentator Victoria Richards argued that Harry continues to remain highly visible despite his wish to live as a “non-working royal.”

“For a man who supposedly wants to be left alone to live a ‘non-working Royal’ life, Prince Harry certainly is… well, everywhere,” she wrote.

Richards pointed to Harry’s recent appearances, including his visit to Australia alongside Meghan Markle and his trip to Ukraine, where he urged the international community not to overlook the country’s ongoing struggles.

She suggested that Harry appears eager to maintain public attention and credibility, saying his actions often contradict his previous statements about privacy and stepping away from royal life.

The commentator also referenced his latest essay discussing antisemitism and Islamophobia, arguing that the Duke continues to reappear in public debates despite earlier attempts to distance himself from the spotlight.

Richards further claimed there was irony in what she described as Harry’s apparent “comeback tour,” adding that the Duke still appears uncertain about the direction he wants for his future.

According to the writer, Harry continues to struggle with balancing his desire for independence with his ongoing presence in global and media conversations.
