Prince William and Princess Kate are reportedly raising their children with a strong focus on discipline, structure and responsibility behind palace doors.
According to insiders, the Prince and Princess of Wales have created a carefully organised home environment for their children, encouraging routines, manners and emotional strength from an early age.
A source claimed that while William and Kate appear warm and hands-on in public, there is also a “highly organised and disciplined system” in place for their family life. Their children are said to grow up with clear boundaries and expectations as the couple believe structure is important considering the royal roles they were born into.
The insider further shared that respect, responsibility and good behaviour are strongly encouraged within the household. The couple reportedly want their children to develop a sense of duty instead of entitlement despite their privileged upbringing.
Although many assume royal children live highly pampered lives, sources suggested that is not the atmosphere William and Kate want at home. The couple are reportedly determined to ensure their children experience ordinary activities, spend time outdoors and understand that royal titles do not place them above rules.
Kate is also said to prioritise keeping the children grounded emotionally and socially, despite growing up surrounded by wealth, staff and worldwide attention. The source claimed she encourages independence, resilience and a strong work ethic while also placing limits on television and screen time.
Insiders added that the couple are especially aware of the future pressures awaiting their eldest son, Prince George, who is expected to become King one day. Because of that, much of their parenting style is reportedly centred on helping the children build confidence and emotional stability from an early age.
The source explained that William and Kate want their children to feel secure in themselves and prepared to handle intense public scrutiny without becoming overwhelmed.
