Prince Harry Reportedly Supports Stronger Security for Andrew After Scare Near Sandringham

Prince Harry is said to believe his uncle Andrew deserves stronger protection following a troubling incident near his home in eastern England.

According to British media reports, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was walking his dogs in the Sandringham area when a man wearing a balaclava allegedly approached him in an aggressive manner. The suspect had reportedly been sitting inside a vehicle before getting out and shouting at Andrew as he walked nearby.

Andrew was accompanied by a member of his private security team at the time. Reports claim he quickly returned to his car and drove away from the scene.

Police later confirmed the arrest of a man carrying a weapon who was allegedly “behaving in an intimidating manner” close to Andrew’s residence.

Amid the incident, royal commentator Rob Shuter claimed Harry feels Andrew should receive stronger security protection despite the controversy surrounding the former Duke of York.

Sources close to the situation reportedly said Harry’s concerns are focused on safety rather than personal support for his uncle.

“Harry does not defend Andrew personally,” one insider reportedly shared. “But he believes royals are permanent high-risk targets regardless of public opinion.”

The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Alex Jenkinson, has pleaded not guilty to charges linked to threatening behaviour towards Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor during a court hearing in central London.

Jenkinson was granted conditional bail and is expected to stand trial on July 29.
