Prince William is reportedly making romance a bigger priority in his marriage following Catherine’s cancer battle, with insiders claiming the experience has brought the couple even closer.
According to a source, the Prince of Wales feels as though he and Catherine have been given “a second chance,” leading to noticeable changes in their relationship.
“William says he feels as though he and Kate are getting a second chance, that has brought a real sense of excitement to things,” the insider shared.
The source claimed William has been expressing his feelings through thoughtful gestures, including romantic dinners and meaningful gifts.
“He’s someone who likes to speak with his actions so he’s been arranging romantic dinners for the two of them and surprising her with sweet gifts,” they added.
The insider also alleged the couple has become more openly affectionate in public in recent months.
“There’s a lot more PDA these days too,” the source told Woman’s Day. While they clarified it’s “nothing extreme,” they noted that the pair appears “more openly affectionate” than before Catherine’s health struggle.
The source went on to say William feels deeply grateful that Catherine has come through such a difficult period.
“William is so obviously elated that Kate has made it through her cancer battle. He’s very proud of her and also more aware than ever how fragile life is,” the insider claimed.
They added that the future king now wants to make the most of their time together and celebrate Catherine’s recovery.
“He wants to celebrate her recovery and her resilience as much as he can,” the source explained.
According to the insider, William has even been encouraged to approach the relationship the same way he did during their early dating days.
“Now that she has her spark back he’s making a big effort to carve out time to romance her. He was advised to treat Kate as though he’s still courting her and he’s taken that to heart,” the source concluded.
