King Charles is reportedly facing fresh pressure as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is said to be making new financial demands after being pushed further out of royal life.
According to a report by Closer Magazine, the former Duke of York is allegedly furious over his treatment by the monarchy and believes he and his family have been deliberately sidelined by the King.
The claims come after reports that Andrew was forced to leave Royal Lodge, deepening tensions between him and senior members of the royal family.
“Make no mistake, this is a man who’s hell-bent on revenge and with nothing much left to lose,” an insider claimed. “As such, he’s become the epitome of a nightmare for the royal family as a whole.”
The source alleged that Andrew is “absolutely seething” and has convinced himself that King Charles is trying to erase him and the York branch of the family from royal life.
“He’s furious about the way he’s being treated and has no intention of backing down quietly,” the insider said, adding that Andrew reportedly refuses to accept responsibility and believes his treatment has been unfair.
Andrew has remained under intense public scrutiny for years, and the latest report suggests there are growing concerns within royal circles over what he could say if tensions continue to rise.
The insider claimed Andrew now sees himself as the “fall guy” for wider royal problems and believes the worst has already happened.
“He’s been humiliated, pushed out of the royal family and, in his self-pitying view, made the fall guy for problems that extend far beyond him,” the source said.
The report further claimed that Andrew is demanding more financial support from King Charles, not only for himself but also for Sarah Ferguson and their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
“Even though Charles is still footing the bill for much of his lifestyle, Andrew isn’t nearly satisfied with the arrangement and believes he’s owed far more,” the insider alleged.
The source also claimed Andrew wants compensation for leaving Royal Lodge and believes Sarah Ferguson should receive financial support as well.
“He’s vowed not to let them be sidelined and is saying he will make an almighty stink if they’re evicted,” the insider added.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor Andrew’s representatives have publicly commented on the latest claims.
