Prince William and Catherine join royal family for traditional Windsor ceremony
Kensington Palace has released a new video showing Prince William and Catherine attending the annual Garter Day celebrations at Windsor Castle.
Shared on the couple’s official Instagram account, the footage captures key moments from the ceremony, including the procession to St George’s Chapel, the investiture of new Companions, and the traditional service linked to the Order of the Garter.
Alongside the video, the Prince and Princess of Wales described their participation as part of “honouring Garter tradition”, noting that they joined the King and other members of the royal family for the day’s events.
They also highlighted the purpose of the occasion, which recognises “outstanding public service and the enduring traditions of the Most Noble Order of the Garter.”
The clip features several senior royals, including Duchess Sophie, as they take part in the formal proceedings.
Catherine drew particular attention during the event, with her appearance standing out in the carefully coordinated ceremonial setting, as seen in the footage released by Kensington Palace.
