The reality star recently opened up about the scent, describing it as a true "vacation in a bottle." Speaking with People, Khloe shared her excitement about releasing the fragrance during her birthday month.
"It's great to kick off my birthday month with a new fragrance," she said, calling the experience "a beautiful thing."
While the launch may seem effortless now, Khloe admitted that creating her first solo fragrance about 18 months ago was far from easy.
"The first one was terrifying and so scary," she recalled. "If you would've said, 'Would you do another one, and a third one?' I'd be like, 'I don't know if I could handle that.'"
Despite her initial doubts, the success of her first fragrance gave her the confidence to continue. With XO Blue, she said the creative process felt much smoother.
"It was a much more seamless process," Khloe explained.
The inspiration behind the scent came from a desire to create something that captures the essence of summer. Listening to customer feedback, she wanted to step outside her comfort zone and develop a fragrance with a stronger presence.
"I wanted to do something tropical," she said. "Consumers wanted something a little more powerful, something a little out of my wheelhouse."
The perfume features notes of lychee, coconut, and magnolia petals, ingredients Khloe believes perfectly reflect the season.
In her words, XO Blue is "definitely a vacation in a bottle." She described it as a fragrance that balances strength and lightness, evoking images of relaxing on a beach with a piña colada in hand.
Beyond its tropical appeal, Khloe says the scent transforms how she feels when she wears it.
"It makes me feel sensual," she shared. "I feel like I'm that girl in this. I'm the most badass version of myself."
She added that the fragrance gives her an extra boost of confidence and a more daring energy than she typically experiences with perfume, making XO Blue one of her boldest creations yet.
