Reality star sparks debate online after an awkward encounter with broadcaster Martin Brundle at the Monaco Grand Prix
Kim Kardashian has found herself at the centre of online debate following an awkward moment during the Monaco Grand Prix that quickly went viral on social media.
During his traditional pre-race grid walk, Martin Brundle approached Kim and attempted to chat with her about the race weekend. After introducing himself and asking how she was enjoying the event, the reality star briefly smiled but did not respond, instead continuing her conversation with sister Khloé Kardashian.
The situation became more uncomfortable when Brundle appeared to encounter resistance from Kim’s security team as he tried to continue the interaction. After receiving no answer, the veteran broadcaster moved on, telling viewers that the sisters were “not talking today.”

The clip quickly spread across social media, where reactions were divided. Some viewers criticised Kim’s behaviour, describing it as rude and dismissive. Others came to her defence, arguing that she was not required to take part in an impromptu interview and may not have heard Brundle clearly amid the noise and activity on the crowded grid.
Kim’s appearance at the prestigious race weekend also renewed attention on ongoing rumours linking her to Formula One star Lewis Hamilton. Speculation about a possible romance has circulated for months, although neither Kim nor Hamilton has publicly addressed or confirmed the reports.
