Former Epstein associate claims she attended royal events, while long-standing allegations remain under scrutiny
Fresh claims connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have emerged after a former assistant alleged she attended events involving members of the Royal Family.
Sarah Kellen, who worked for Epstein for more than a decade beginning in 2001, recently provided testimony to the US House Oversight Committee. During her appearance, she described what she characterised as a troubling and abusive relationship with Epstein while disputing previous claims that she played a central role in managing his network.
In her testimony, Kellen said she met several high-profile figures through Epstein, including Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. She alleged that she attended a dinner at what she described as Andrew’s private apartment at Buckingham Palace and was also present at the 18th birthday celebration of Princess Beatrice.
The claims remain unverified and have drawn renewed attention to Andrew’s past association with Epstein. The Duke of York has consistently denied any wrongdoing and has repeatedly stated that he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal conduct during the period of their friendship.
Andrew has also challenged various allegations regarding his participation in social gatherings connected to Epstein. His ties to the disgraced financier have previously resulted in significant legal and reputational consequences, including a civil settlement in the United States.
The latest testimony comes as authorities continue reviewing historical allegations linked to Epstein and individuals within his wider social circle. No new allegations of wrongdoing have been made against Princess Beatrice, and Kellen’s statements have not been independently verified.
