King Charles and Queen Camilla brought Royal Ascot 2026 to a close on Saturday as they led the traditional Royal Procession on the event's final day.
The royal couple were the only members of the British royal family to take part in the procession, marking the end of another successful week at the prestigious racing event.
Royal Ascot, one of Britain's most celebrated sporting and social occasions, has been held annually since 1711. This year's final day attracted huge interest, with tickets selling out well in advance.
Demonstrating their continued support for the event, King Charles and Queen Camilla attended all five days of the meeting, greeting racegoers and taking part in the daily royal traditions that have become synonymous with Ascot.
The royal family's official social media accounts reflected on the week on Friday, sharing a collection of photographs featuring senior royals who attended the event.
The images included King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, capturing memorable moments from across the week.
Alongside the photographs, Buckingham Palace wrote: "A wonderful week at Royal Ascot!"
