Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly expressed concerns about Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's growing closeness with Prince William following a recent royal family gathering.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have reacted after William was photographed warmly greeting and kissing his cousin Beatrice at the wedding of their cousin, Peter Phillips.
According to a report by Heat World, Harry and Meghan believe William's friendly behavior toward the York sisters may not be entirely genuine. Sources claim the couple feels it is only a matter of time before William's relationship with Beatrice and Eugenie changes.
An insider alleged that Harry and Meghan view the sisters as being overly supportive of William and believe they should be more cautious in their dealings with him.
"They aren't saying Beatrice and Eugenie needed to be unfriendly," the source reportedly said. "But they feel they could have been a little less enthusiastic."
The insider further claimed that Meghan and Harry are frustrated by what they see as the sisters defending William, despite ongoing tensions within the royal family.
According to the source, the Sussexes believe William's actions are strategic and that his current friendliness may not last.
The report also referenced William's past interactions with Prince Andrew, suggesting that Harry and Meghan view those events as evidence that William's public support can change over time.
Despite stepping back from royal duties and relocating to California in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan are believed to have maintained a close relationship with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
