Meghan Markle Shares Update on New Film Produced With Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has shared a fresh update about a new documentary she and Prince Harry have executive produced through their Archewell Productions banner.

The Duchess of Sussex promoted the project on Friday by resharing a post from the film’s official social media page on her Instagram.

The post featured a poster for Cookie Queens, along with the caption: “Big dreams start small. Cookie Queen is only in theaters August 7.”

Directed by Alysa Nahmias, the documentary follows four young girls, aged between 5 and 12, as they compete to become top cookie sellers during the intense Girl Scout Cookie season.

The film explores the contrast between childhood innocence and the pressure of ambition, competition and high-stakes capitalism.

Prince Harry and Meghan are serving as executive producers on the project through Archewell Productions.

The update comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also reportedly planning a visit to the United Kingdom with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Harry and Meghan moved to the United States in 2020 after stepping back from royal duties following tensions within the royal family.

Their reported UK visit comes amid claims that Harry is making efforts to repair ties with his father, King Charles III.

According to reports, the monarch has offered the couple royal accommodation during their stay. However, it remains unclear whether Harry and Meghan will accept the offer.
