Royal commentators believe a meeting between the estranged brothers remains unlikely.
Prince Harry's reported visit to the UK next month could offer an opportunity to reconnect with King Charles, but royal commentators believe a reunion with Prince William remains unlikely.
The Duke of Sussex is expected to travel to Britain with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. While speculation continues over whether the trip could lead to family reconciliation, experts suggest the rift between Harry and William is still far from healing.
Royal commentator Dan Wakeford told The Blast that any potential meeting with the King appears more plausible than one with the Prince of Wales.
"The king is the door that might open, but the Wales household is completely bolted shut right now," Wakeford said.
He added that William's position has remained unchanged, claiming the Prince of Wales would not arrange a private meeting with Harry and Meghan outside an official royal engagement.
Royal commentator Amanda Matta also expressed doubts that the brothers would meet during the reported visit.
Speaking to Page Six on June 22, the Off With Their Headlines podcast co-host said she believes it is too early to expect signs of reconciliation.
"I think it is almost impossible to draw any conclusions about a reconciliation between Harry and William at this stage," Matta said.
She described the relationship between the brothers as one of the most strained within the Royal Family, adding that William has sought to project stability and leadership in recent months. According to Matta, this has contributed to reports suggesting he has disagreed with King Charles' handling of sensitive family matters, including Prince Harry's possible return.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace has publicly commented on reports surrounding Harry's expected UK visit or any potential family meetings.
