Prince Harry once spoke warmly about his time at Frogmore Cottage, the home he shared with Meghan Markle after their wedding, describing it as a place that immediately felt right for them.
Although the couple lived there for less than a year, the property clearly held special meaning. In his memoir Spare, Harry reflected on their life at Frogmore and revealed how deeply attached they became to the home from the moment they arrived.
Recalling that period, Harry wrote that he and Meghan had moved their office to Buckingham Palace while settling into Frogmore Cottage. He described the house as a place they instantly loved, saying it felt as though they were meant to live there.
The Duke also shared memories of their peaceful mornings spent walking through the gardens, checking on the swans, and getting to know the royal gardeners. According to Harry, he and Meghan learned the names of the gardeners as well as many of the flowers growing on the grounds. He added that the gardeners appreciated how much the couple admired their work and dedication.
Harry’s reflections have resurfaced as fresh reports emerge about the future of Frogmore Cottage. The discussion reportedly centres on plans to alter parts of the property, including changes to interior walls. Notably, Harry and Meghan previously spent around £2.4 million renovating the residence after their marriage, making the latest developments particularly significant given their investment in the home.
