The outlet, citing an unnamed source, alleges that the Prince of Wales is struggling to understand why so much effort is being made to accommodate the Duke and Duchess of Sussex despite years of public tensions between the couple and the Royal Family.
According to the source, William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, are said to question the level of priority being given to Harry and Meghan.
"This is all deeply personal, but William and Kate can't understand why so much effort and priority is being taken for Harry and Meghan," the insider reportedly claimed.
The report also references Catherine's gradual return to public duties following her cancer treatment, suggesting that William remains protective of his wife after what the family has endured over the past year.
The same source further alleged that William has considered confronting King Charles over the situation but has chosen not to, believing that Harry and Meghan will ultimately create difficulties for themselves. The insider also claimed that the King prefers to avoid family conflict and is reluctant to fuel further drama.
The reported visit comes roughly a year before the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, when the international sporting event for wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans is set to return to Birmingham.
