King Charles also marked Queen Camilla's birthday with a special message
Prince William and Kate Middleton have sent their warm wishes to Queen Camilla as she celebrates her 79th birthday.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared the Royal Family’s birthday post on their Instagram Stories, writing: “Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy Birthday!” They completed the message with a crown emoji.
King Charles also celebrated his wife's special day. The Palace shared a lovely photograph of Camilla on Instagram alongside the message: “Happy Birthday to The Queen!”
Camilla marked her birthday by renewing her commitment to promoting children's literacy. The Palace announced that every Year 6 and P6 pupil across the UK will receive a special edition of Katherine Rundell’s bestselling book Impossible Creatures this Christmas.
The initiative is being led by the National Literacy Trust, of which the Queen is patron, and supports the National Year of Reading 2026.
Royal fans filled the comments section with birthday messages for Camilla while praising the literacy initiative.
"Happy birthday, Your Majesty! Love the book gift for children, what an incredible gesture," one fan wrote.
Another commented: "Happy, happy birthday! May you have the most splendid day and the best year ahead!"
