Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly kept their distance from the Sussexes during their recent UK visit
Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly ready to move on from the ongoing tensions involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Harry recently travelled to Britain with Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. During the visit, the family reportedly reunited with King Charles as part of efforts to repair strained relations.
However, the Prince and Princess of Wales did not meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, suggesting that the rift between the two couples remains unresolved.
Speaking to The Sun, royal biographer Robert Jobson claimed that William and Kate are “totally over” the drama and no longer want to be drawn into what he described as the “Meghan and Harry circus.”
While King Charles was reportedly willing to set aside his differences with Harry for a private meeting, Jobson said William appears focused on moving forward.
“To be honest, I think they rise above it, William and Catherine. I think they rightly do,” he said.
According to the royal expert, William and Kate have more important priorities, particularly following the Princess of Wales’ cancer treatment and recovery.
“They’ve got enough on their plate. You know, she’s been recovering, and they’re planning for their future,” Jobson added.
He also noted that the couple are focused on their children and the next chapter of family life, including Prince George’s reported plans to attend Eton College.
“I think they’re totally over the whole Meghan and Harry circus,” Jobson concluded.
