Sarah Ferguson’s reaction to Princess Eugenie’s reported decision revealed

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew are expected to be “extremely excited” about the reported arrival of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s third child this summer.

However, reports suggest the couple may not be closely involved in the birth or the days that follow. An insider told Closer that Eugenie wants to welcome her baby with as little disruption as possible.

“Eugenie’s number one priority is having this baby with the absolute minimum of fuss,” the source claimed. “She doesn’t want the hospital turning into a circus, and she’s made that very clear.”

Speaking to the Mirror, royal expert Jennie Bond said Sarah would likely be deeply upset if she were excluded.

“We do know that Fergie has been a doting grandmother in the past to her four little grandchildren, and I’m sure she would be heartbroken if she were excluded from this wonderful new episode in Eugenie and Jack’s life,” Bond said.

She added that both Sarah and Andrew would naturally want to meet their new grandchild and support Eugenie during the first few days.

“Who wouldn’t want to be involved in the birth and first few days in the life of a new grandchild?” she said. “It’s only natural that Fergie, and Andrew too, would want to meet the new arrival and give any support they can to Eugenie.”

Bond acknowledged that it remains unclear how much contact Eugenie currently has with her parents.

“It’s thought that Eugenie has distanced herself from her disgraced father, and possibly from her mother as well,” she said. “But the truth is, we don’t know what, if any, conversations or meetings they have had in recent times.”

Despite the speculation, Bond believes Sarah will offer her daughter support privately if Eugenie welcomes her involvement.
