Queen Camilla was reportedly present when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met King Charles.
Kensington Palace has shared an exciting update about Kate Middleton, one day after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly met King Charles with their children.
Royal correspondent Emily Ferguson announced on X, formerly Twitter, that the Princess of Wales would attend the Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Final.
“NEW: The Princess of Wales, Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, will attend the Ladies’ Singles Final at Wimbledon this afternoon,” Ferguson wrote.
She added that Kate would attend the event alone and would not be accompanied by Prince William or their children.
“She will attend the championships solo, and she will not be joined by her husband or her children,” the royal expert said.
Kate’s brother, James Middleton, also revealed that he and his wife, Alizée Thevenet, would be attending the final.
Taking to Instagram, James shared a loved-up photograph with his wife and wrote: “Matchy matchy for @wimbledon.”
The palace announcement came a day after King Charles reportedly hosted Prince Harry, Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for a private family meeting on Friday.
The gathering was said to be the monarch’s first meeting with the Sussex family in several years, as both sides reportedly attempt to repair the rift that followed Harry and Meghan’s decision to step back from royal duties and move to the United States six years ago.
Harry’s family had reportedly travelled to Britain from an undisclosed location in Europe for the meeting.
Queen Camilla was also said to have been present during the family gathering.
