Prince William and Kate Middleton did not meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the Sussexes’ recent visit to the UK, despite renewed speculation about a possible reconciliation between the royal brothers.
The Daily Mail recently reported that William and Harry remain in contact despite their years-long feud. Citing friends of the Duke of Sussex, the publication claimed the brothers “do communicate.”
One source said it would have sent “the most amazing signal” if William had joined Harry at Highgrove. The report also suggested that Harry understands his future relationship with the royal family may depend more on his brother than on King Charles.
However, HELLO! has dismissed claims that William and Harry are speaking again. According to the outlet, the brothers remain estranged, which explains why they did not reunite during Harry and Meghan’s UK visit.
Tensions between William and Harry have persisted since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties and moved to the United States in 2020.
Their relationship reportedly deteriorated further after Harry and Meghan discussed private royal family matters in several public interviews. Harry’s memoir, Spare, also included a number of personal claims about William and other senior royals.
