'We've got a business worth nearly $150 million in 18 months,' Morgan claims
Piers Morgan is celebrating a major milestone for his media company, Uncensored, as the broadcaster revealed the business is now valued at around $145 million, years after his highly publicized fallout with Meghan Markle.
Morgan, one of the Duchess of Sussex's most vocal critics, has been embroiled in a public feud with Meghan since her interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021. The interview sparked widespread debate and ultimately led to Morgan's departure from ITV after he refused to apologize for comments he made about the Duchess.
Now, Morgan says his media venture has reached a significant financial milestone. Uncensored recently secured $27 million in a new funding round, bringing the company's valuation to approximately $145 million.
Speaking on The Karl Stefanovic Show, Morgan said the platform has grown to 4.5 million subscribers and continues to generate substantial revenue through advertising and sponsorships.

"It's got 4.5 million subscribers now, and generates a lot of cash from advertising and sponsorships," he said.
The latest investment round was led by Raine Ventures and Antenna Group. Strategic investors include Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of Rupert Murdoch, as well as British businessmen Simon and David Reuben.
Morgan said his long-term vision was to build a media business that could thrive independently of his personal brand.
"I knew I had to build a business which would actually, in the end, become much less reliant on me. So I decided to take Uncensored as the brand of the business," he explained.
He also highlighted the success of the company's sports coverage.
"We've just done World Cup Uncensored... And that's blown up as well. We're doing bigger numbers than Gary Lineker's show, which Netflix paid $14 million for. We don't pay anyone to market our content. We do it all ourselves," Morgan said.
According to the broadcaster, Uncensored has grown into a business worth nearly $150 million in just 18 months.
"I think the sky's the limit for this stuff," he added.
Morgan also noted that the company's current valuation is roughly 100 times higher than his former annual ITV salary, underscoring the rapid growth of the business.
The latest achievement comes as Morgan's long-running public feud with Meghan Markle continues to attract attention, although there is no evidence that the company's valuation has any direct financial impact on the Duchess.
