Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are reportedly growing up with little understanding of their royal background.
The children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are being raised in California, are said to have no real awareness of their royal status or their connection to the British Royal Family.
A friend of Harry and Meghan told HELLO!: “The truth is they don’t really have any concept about who they are. Their parents are very good at keeping them away from it all, so they live as normal little kids.”
The source also claimed that Prince Harry remains in “frequent” contact with his father, King Charles.
Although Harry has reportedly confirmed that Archie and Lilibet will not join him on his upcoming trip to the UK, insiders suggest that discussions around security arrangements are still ongoing. On Friday, it was reported that his security team was “still looking at options” to help the visit move forward.
Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties in 2020 alongside Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie. The couple later spoke publicly about their struggles within the Royal Family and made several serious claims during televised interviews.
Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
