Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have little choice but to follow King Charles’ conditions if they hope to repair their relationship with the royal family, according to a new report.
Following recent discussions about a possible reconciliation, Harry has reportedly urged Meghan to be cautious and avoid any actions that could damage their chances of rebuilding trust.
An unnamed source told Closer Online that the couple had been “humbled” by recent events and may now need to accept the King’s terms.
“As much as they don’t want to accept it, their only option now is to follow Charles’ rules if they want any hope of rebuilding the relationship,” the source claimed.
The insider added that Harry believes they should step back and handle the situation carefully because another opportunity for reconciliation may not arise.
“Harry’s telling Meghan they have to take a serious step back,” the source said, adding that he understands any mistake could carry a significant personal cost.
According to the report, Harry has also encouraged Meghan to put aside her pride, cooperate with King Charles and his advisers, and show that the couple can be trusted.
Neither Prince Harry, Meghan Markle nor Buckingham Palace has publicly confirmed the claims.
