Prince Harry has reportedly asked Meghan Markle to reach out to Kate Middleton in hopes of easing tensions within the royal family.
Royal insiders told Radar Online that the Duke of Sussex believes improving the strained relationship between Meghan and Kate could also help him rebuild his bond with Prince William.
“Harry’s been gently encouraging Meghan to make the first move because he genuinely believes Kate would be receptive if she’s open to sitting down and clearing the air,” a source claimed.
The insider added that Harry still has “a huge amount of love and respect” for Kate and does not believe she would hold onto resentment forever, given the close relationship they once shared.
The claims emerged days after the Palace confirmed that Harry and Meghan visited King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The visit reportedly marked the first time the King had seen his Sussex grandchildren in more than four years.
However, tensions between the two royal brothers appear far from resolved. A royal expert recently claimed that William has “no plans” to end his feud with Harry after the Prince of Wales reportedly avoided meeting his younger brother during his return to the UK.
