According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Duchess of Sussex is in advanced talks to appear in the third season of Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series The Gentlemen. However, Deadline described the discussions as “hypothetical,” noting that Netflix has not yet renewed the show beyond its upcoming second season.
Ritchie is a long-time friend of David Beckham. The director and former football star have collaborated on several projects over the years and are said to have grown close through their shared interest in country life.
That connection has led some royal fans to wonder whether Meghan’s potential involvement in Ritchie’s series could somehow help Beckham repair his relationship with Brooklyn. There is currently no evidence, however, that Meghan or Ritchie is involved in the family dispute.
Brooklyn, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, publicly addressed the tensions with his parents in January 2026. He accused them of being “controlling” and attempting to damage his marriage to American actress and director Nicola Peltz Beckham. He also said that he did not wish to reconcile with his family.
The dispute quickly drew comparisons with Prince Harry and Meghan’s strained relationship with the British royal family. Rumors later suggested that Brooklyn and Nicola had been in contact with the Sussexes, although no such relationship has been publicly confirmed.
David and Victoria were once friendly with Harry and Meghan, but the couples have not been seen together publicly since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties and moved to the United States. David, meanwhile, has maintained close ties to the monarchy and has frequently expressed his admiration for the royal family.
While Meghan’s possible collaboration with Ritchie has fueled talk of an unlikely reconciliation effort, the theory remains highly speculative. Neither Meghan and Harry nor Brooklyn and Nicola have publicly indicated that they share a close relationship, despite both couples living in the US.
