Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly considering leaving Hollywood and rebuilding their lives in Britain.
Although reconnecting with the Royal Family is believed to be one of the couple’s main priorities, insiders claim another issue may be making a move to the UK increasingly attractive: the uncertainty surrounding Harry’s US immigration status.
“The visa issue has become a cloud Harry simply cannot control,” a source told Naughty But Nice. “As long as people are fighting to see those records, there’s uncertainty.”
The insider suggested that establishing a home in Britain would give the Duke of Sussex a sense of security that he may currently lack in the United States.
“Establishing a life in Britain gives him something America currently doesn’t: certainty,” the source added.
Questions about Harry’s immigration documents emerged after he publicly discussed his past drug use in his memoir, Spare. Critics have questioned whether those disclosures were accurately reflected in his US visa application.
Harry’s representatives have maintained that he was truthful, and there has been no public finding that he provided false information on any immigration document. Nevertheless, speculation about the matter has continued.
Sources insist Meghan’s professional ambitions and Harry’s wish to repair his relationship with the Royal Family remain genuine reasons for considering a return. However, the immigration dispute may have given the couple an additional incentive to keep their options open.
“Harry isn’t necessarily running from America,” the insider said. “He’s making sure America can never leave him without options. Britain is his insurance policy.”
Harry and Meghan have not publicly confirmed that they are moving back to the UK.
