Prince Harry 'puts his foot down' as Meghan Markle faces embarrassing new claims
Prince Harry is reportedly deeply disappointed after fresh claims raised concerns about whether private details of the Sussexes’ contact with the Royal Family could become public.
Harry and Meghan Markle have so far remained silent about their reported meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla. However, comments from television personality Martha Stewart have sparked speculation that Meghan discussed the royal reunion at a Hollywood gathering.
According to Heat World, Harry fears the claims could undermine his efforts to rebuild trust with his family.
“This is the absolute worst thing that could be happening right now,” a source told the publication. “Here they are trying so hard to build back trust. Harry’s giving his father and palace staff these assurances that he and Meghan will both be total vaults, and then this comes out.”
The insider claimed that palace advisers could view the headlines as damaging, even though Stewart did not reveal what Meghan allegedly said.
“No doubt royal advisers will see the headlines about Meghan supposedly talking about her visit with His Majesty as a full-scale disaster and use it as proof that she can’t be trusted,” the source added.
Stewart recently told People that she had attended the same dinner party as Meghan in California shortly after the Duchess reportedly returned from the palace.
“I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night. We were both guests at a party in California,” Stewart said. “She had just gotten back from the palace. I didn’t talk to her really more than to say a couple of words, but I know she was talking about it.”
Stewart did not say what Meghan allegedly discussed, and there is no confirmation that the Duchess disclosed anything private about her meeting with the King.
Neither Harry nor Meghan has publicly responded to the claims.
