King Charles’ health update revealed after reunion with Archie and Lilibet

King Charles is reportedly making encouraging progress with his cancer treatment, with doctors said to be “very pleased” with his condition.

The positive update comes shortly after reports that the monarch reunited with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Writing for Woman & Home, royal expert Emily Andrews said the King has been in “really good form” throughout the year and is carrying out almost as many engagements as he did before his cancer diagnosis.

“The King has been on really good form this year. I’m told his engagements are pretty much back to his pre-cancer levels,” she reported, citing palace insiders.

Charles began receiving treatment in February 2024. Since then, courtiers have reportedly kept Fridays clear to give the monarch time to rest.

“But although he’s still receiving treatment, thought to be immunotherapy, doctors are very pleased with his progress,” Andrews added.

The King is now said to be looking forward to spending the summer at Balmoral, where he plans to enjoy time with his family while continuing to handle official duties.

According to a source, Charles hopes to have a proper break in the Scottish Highlands, where he enjoys fishing and painting. He is also expected to host several guests at Balmoral during his stay.

Meanwhile, reports claim the King has invited Harry and his family to visit Balmoral following their reported reunion last month.

Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet are said to have spent time with Charles at Highgrove, his private country residence. The gathering reportedly marked the King’s first meeting with the Sussex family in four years.
