Meghan Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has publicly criticised their father, claiming that many of his problems were the result of his own actions.
Speaking in a recent interview, Thomas Jr. discussed the medical procedure his father underwent last year and argued that he had failed to take responsibility for the circumstances surrounding it.
He described his father as a narcissist and claimed that, rather than addressing his own issues, Thomas Markle had blamed him for everything that had gone wrong.
Thomas Markle reportedly underwent a leg amputation while receiving treatment at a hospital in the Philippines last year.
Meghan has been estranged from her father since the period leading up to her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
Just days before the ceremony, Thomas announced that he would not attend because of health concerns. The decision came after he admitted to taking part in staged paparazzi photographs.
Meghan and Harry now live in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The couple stepped back from their roles as senior members of the British royal family in 2020.
