Prince Harry plans olive branch for William and Kate as he admits he misses them

Prince Harry is reportedly hoping to repair his strained relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton, with sources claiming he wants King Charles to see his sons at peace.

According to a royal insider who spoke to Heat World, the Duke of Sussex misses both his older brother and sister-in-law and is prepared to put their bitter feud behind him.

Harry, who shares Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with Meghan Markle, is reportedly willing to accept his share of the blame if William agrees to meet him face to face. He is said to believe that an honest conversation could help them settle their differences once and for all.

“He misses his brother and sister-in-law, and wants his father to see his sons at peace,” the source claimed. “On top of that, Diana’s anniversary is coming up. There are all these emotional reasons for wanting to find a way forward.”

The insider added that Harry believes William can be “vengeful” and feels it is unfair that he is expected to plead with his brother to meet and accept an apology. However, the source claimed that this is a familiar pattern for the Duke.

“He was always having to be the bigger person when they were younger, or at least that’s how he tells it,” the insider said. “And he says if he has to do that yet again to save the family, then he’s not opposed to it.”

The latest claims come amid reports that William has firmly shifted his attention away from his younger brother.

Royal commentator Phil Dampier recently cited friends of the Prince of Wales as saying William is focused on Kate and their children, while “Harry is the past.”

Dampier told the Daily Mail that the brothers previously set aside their differences when they unveiled a statue of their mother, Princess Diana, at Kensington Palace in 2021. However, he suggested their relationship has deteriorated considerably since then.

“William and Harry put aside their differences for the unveiling of the statue of their mother Princess Diana, but things are much worse now,” he said.

“I think William would find it very hard to meet Harry, even to honour Diana’s memory.”
