Prince Harry is reportedly determined to rebuild his relationship with the royal family, despite ongoing tensions with Prince William.
Royal experts claim the Duke of Sussex will not allow his strained relationship with his brother to interfere with his efforts to reconnect with King Charles.
Harry visited the UK last month to fulfil a commitment connected to the Invictus Games. Toward the end of the trip, he was joined by Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Sussex family reportedly met King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on July 10. Sources now say the visit strengthened Harry’s desire to repair his relationship with his father and spend more time in Britain.
“There’s no doubt he enjoyed his time in the UK with his family, especially getting the opportunity to see his father with his wife and children,” an insider told The Mirror.
“The last few years have been incredibly emotional for him, and now he’s reached a place where he wants to not only visit his home country more, but also would really like to be with his family,” the source continued.
According to the insider, a public show of support from King Charles at next year’s Invictus Games could represent a major step forward in their relationship.
“If the King were to attend the Invictus Games next year and appear in public with him, it would be a huge moment for all of them,” the source said.
Harry is also reportedly eager for Archie and Lilibet to spend more time with their grandfather. Although his relationship with William remains strained, sources suggest the duke remains focused on repairing his bond with the King and will not allow anyone to derail those reconciliation efforts.
