Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly left Balmoral after spending a week with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
According to Hello!, the Prince and Princess of Wales are preparing for their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, to return to school.
The couple arrived at the Scottish estate last week, around the same time Prince Harry reportedly confirmed plans to move back to the UK with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Harry and Meghan arrived in Britain on Wednesday, reportedly traveling by private jet to Birmingham Airport. The couple stepped down as senior working royals six years ago before relocating to California.
According to The Telegraph and other outlets, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex intend to remain in the UK for an “extended period.” They are expected to live at a property in the Cotswolds, while their children have reportedly been enrolled in a British school for the new academic year.
Their return is said to have caused concern for William and Kate, particularly as tensions between the two royal couples remain unresolved.
Closer reported that William was left fuming by the unexpected development, claiming the Sussexes’ decision had created a major headache for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
“They were blindsided by the move and are deeply uneasy about what happens next,” a source told the publication.
Neither Kensington Palace nor representatives for Harry and Meghan have publicly commented on the latest claims.
