Prince William’s relationship with his younger brother, Prince Harry, has reportedly become even more strained, with royal commentators suggesting the Prince of Wales is increasingly frustrated by Harry’s public remarks.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield and her co-host Rupert Bell discussed what may be going through William’s mind following reports that the Duke of Sussex could be offered accommodation at Buckingham Palace during his next visit to the UK.
The discussion followed journalist Emily Andrews’ report about the possible offer, according to the Express.
Bell suggested that William’s reaction may be less about outright fury and more about growing exhaustion with the situation.
“Furious, no. Frustrated, yes,” he said. “‘When’s it going to end?’ That kind of reaction is what we’re talking about.”
He went on to speculate that William may be wondering why Harry cannot remain quiet and act with greater consideration for the royal family.
“Why can’t the guy just shut up and learn to keep his mouth shut and do the right thing?” Bell said, describing what he believes William may be thinking.
He added that the Prince of Wales is likely reacting with “frustration and disappointment,” particularly when he feels his brother has not been sensitive to the family’s needs.
