King Charles and Prince Harry’s recent reunion may have attracted worldwide attention, but the meeting has reportedly not led to regular contact between the father and son.
Harry, Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, recently met with the King in Britain, raising hopes that the gathering could mark the beginning of a royal reconciliation.
However, royal commentator Rob Shuter has claimed that Charles and Harry have not spoken since the meeting.
Writing in his Naughty But Nice Substack, Shuter cited palace insiders who said the emotional reunion was meaningful but did not immediately repair the strained relationship.
According to the report, there have been no phone calls, text messages or arrangements for another face-to-face meeting since Harry returned to California.
“The reunion ended, Harry flew back to California, and that was it,” a source claimed.
“There hasn’t been a single conversation since. People wanted this to be the start of something bigger, but right now there’s nothing else on the calendar.”
Another insider described the meeting as an important first step rather than a complete resolution.
“It was an important first step, not a miracle cure,” the source said. “Everyone left feeling the meeting was worthwhile, but nobody walked away believing everything had suddenly been fixed.”
Despite the lack of further communication, sources suggested that reconciliation remains possible.
“The door hasn’t been slammed shut,” one insider said. “But it hasn’t been thrown wide open either.”
For now, the relationship is reportedly at a standstill, with any further progress depending on who decides to make the next move.
