Sarah Ferguson ‘sitting on a gold mine’ but fears major decision could hurt daughters

Sarah Ferguson could reportedly earn a significant amount of money from a tell-all book or documentary, but concerns about Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie may be preventing her from taking that step.

Royal commentator and presenter Mark Dolan discussed the possibility during an appearance on The Royals Uncensored.

“She’s still sitting on a gold mine, and that would be the tell-all book or the Netflix documentary series,” Dolan said.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for King Charles between 2004 and 2011, suggested that Sarah’s close relationship with her daughters could make her reluctant to reveal private details about the Royal Family.

“I think that relationship with her daughters, and her daughters are obviously still members of the Royal Family and involved with the King, that’s in the back of her mind,” Harrold said.

“Even though she might think about doing these books and everything, I personally think she won’t go that far because of her relationship with her daughters and the King.”

A Hollywood insider also warned that while a documentary could bring Sarah a lucrative payday, it could seriously damage her family relationships.

“The risk is not the money, it is the fallout,” the insider said. “A documentary can bring a big cheque, but it can also lock in old resentments and make future family contact far harder.”

The comments come amid reports that Sarah has been asking Beatrice and Eugenie for support following her reported eviction from Royal Lodge.
