Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently moved their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to a new school.
The couple reportedly made the decision because their security team had concerns about the daily journey. The long distance from the family’s home and heavy traffic in the area made travel difficult.
A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said they changed schools after discussing the situation with their security team.
“The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements,” the spokesperson said.
The representative thanked the teachers and staff at the former school for taking good care of Archie and Lilibet.

“The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family,” the spokesperson added.
The representative also said the decision was not a criticism of the school or the care provided to the children.
ITV royal correspondent Chris Ship later reported that the former school was “relieved” by the move.
Sharing his report on X, formerly known as Twitter, Ship wrote: “The previous school is, I am told by those in the know, actually relieved that Harry and Meghan relocated their children.”
The location of the family’s new home and details about the children’s school remain private.
Harry and Meghan moved back to Britain after living in California for six years. Archie and Lilibet began school in September.
