Balmoral Castle has shared an update about its opening dates as reports suggest Meghan Markle plans to visit California without Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet.
Royal commentator Alison Boshoff told News Nation that Meghan plans to spend a week in California during the school half-term break after reportedly returning to Britain on August 26.
Boshoff claimed Meghan would then return to Britain before heading back to Montecito for Christmas.
Separately, Balmoral Castle announced that its grounds, gardens, exhibitions and restaurant will reopen to visitors on Tuesday, September 29, for its 2026 autumn season.
The castle shared a photo on its official social media account and reminded visitors that some facilities are already open.
“Throughout September, our Main Gate Gift Shop and Terrace Café remain open daily from 10am until 4pm,” the statement said.
Visitors can shop for gifts and souvenirs, then enjoy food or a sweet treat at the café near the castle gates.
The estate also welcomed anyone exploring Royal Deeside or looking for a stop during their journey.
Looking ahead to the reopening on September 29, the castle said: “We look forward to welcoming you back.”
