Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced criticism following reports that they plan to move their children to a different school because of security concerns.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly returned to Britain last month. Their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, had recently started the new school year in the country.
However, reports this week claimed that Archie and Lilibet will now attend another school.
According to Hello! magazine, the family decided to make the change because heavy traffic and the long daily journey were putting extra pressure on their security team.
Some social media users criticized the couple’s reported decision.
One person wrote on
Another commented: “Apparently, being stuck at a red light is now a national security concern.”
A third person joked that the Royal and VIP Executive Committee, known as RAVEC, might next have to decide whether the line of cars outside the school creates a serious security threat.
A fourth person added: “This is just silly. They do not need a convoy to take the children to and from school.”
