King Charles is reportedly unhappy with Prince Harry for not telling him sooner about his return to the UK.
A source told RadarOnline.com that Harry informed British security officials about the trip before telling his father.
“The King understands why the authorities needed advance notice, especially because of Harry’s concerns about security,” the source said.
However, Charles was reportedly upset that government officials knew about his son’s return before he did.
“After everything that has happened between them, Charles found that very disappointing,” the insider added. “This is not just a short visit. Harry is bringing his wife and children back to Britain.”
Another source said Charles still wants a relationship with Harry and hopes to spend more time with his grandchildren.
Because of this, learning about the visit after the Home Office reportedly made the situation even more difficult.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to England on August 26 with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
