Prince Harry has been accused of wanting the benefits of royal life despite publicly criticizing the Royal Family.
Royal fashion and lifestyle reporter Alicia Liberty shared this view in an article for Express.co.uk. She argued that Harry has spent years speaking openly about his problems with the monarchy.
She wrote that Harry chose to step down as a senior working royal, share personal family matters publicly and turn his royal experiences into profitable interviews, documentaries, podcasts and his memoir, Spare.
Six years after Megxit, Harry’s return to Britain has been described as a major change in direction. However, Liberty claimed he did not return quietly or give past tensions time to settle. Instead, she said, he brought old disagreements back with him.
Liberty also argued that Harry and Meghan Markle made their own decision to leave royal duties behind.
She concluded that the situation could not continue forever, writing: “At some point, enough has to be enough. And King Charles can no longer afford to simply watch from the sidelines.”
