Meghan Markle reportedly wants to repair her relationship with the royal family, but she does not want to beg for forgiveness.
The Duchess of Sussex has returned to the UK after six years away from royal duties. According to reports, she hopes to make peace with her in-laws, especially Kate Middleton.
Royal commentator Chris Riches wrote in the Express that Meghan wants peace with the royal family, but “on her own terms.”
He also noted that Prince William and Kate have not publicly criticized Harry and Meghan since the couple stepped down as working royals. However, the Prince and Princess of Wales have faced repeated criticism from the Sussexes over the years.
A source told the National Examiner that Meghan would like to end her disagreement with Kate, but “not if it means she has to beg.”
The source added that Meghan “isn’t going to grovel to anybody, least of all Kate.” They also claimed that the duchess has “very strong boundaries” to protect herself.
