Prince Harry's first official engagements in the UK have been announced following his return to the country.
According to Hello!, the 41-year-old Duke of Sussex will attend the first Invictus Spirit Awards and the annual WellChild Awards.
The WellChild Awards will be held in London on September 21, 2026. The event seriously celebrates ill children and young people, as well as the families and professionals who support them.
Harry said it is always an honor to attend the awards and meet the inspiring children, families and healthcare workers involved.
He added that this year’s ceremony will be especially meaningful because it marks the 20th anniversary of the WellChild Nurse program. For two decades, the program has helped thousands of children receive care and spend more time at home with their families.
Harry will also attend the first Invictus Spirit Awards. The ceremony will honor people, organizations and communities that represent the strength, service and determination at the heart of the Invictus Movement.
In addition, the Duke will await the launch of INSPIRE, a new Invictus education program.
Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, reportedly returned to the UK during the final week of August 2026 after living in the United States for six years.
Their children, seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, have also returned to the UK and started school.
