Prince William and Kate Middleton are hiring a project manager for the Princess of Wales’s Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood.
The Royal Foundation, the charity run by the Prince and Princess of Wales, announced the vacancy.
According to GB News, the new role suggests that Princess Kate wants to expand the centre’s work outside the UK. The person who gets the job will manage international projects and work with experts and businesses around the world.
The project manager will help show why investing in a child’s early years is important for society, businesses and the economy. They will also help organizations in different countries share information and ideas.
The news comes as Kate continues to support the hospital where she received cancer treatment.
On Friday, the princess said that completing a recent fundraising challenge was a “small way” to give something back to the hospital.
In June, Kate announced that she had completed the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
The challenge involved climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. These are the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.
Kate received preventive chemotherapy at the Royal Marsden in London. She began treatment after major abdominal surgery in early 2024 found that cancer had been present. The exact type of cancer was not publicly revealed.
